Our competition teams range from dancers who have never danced or competed before to seasoned pre-professionals, so we have a space for everyone.

No experience required and everyone makes a team!

Ages 5-7 Years Old

August 1st 9-11am 

Audition fee: $45

Dancers will learn a short routine during the first hour. The second hour they will then perform in random groups to be judged.

This is a closed tryout meaning no parents are allowed to stay in the studio during tryouts.

All participants will receive a LiveWire Team T-shirt at tryouts. 

Announcement of team placement will be on August 12th.

If you cannot make it to tryouts you can send in a video submission. Please contact the office if you are needing to audition via video.

Ages 8-18 Years Old

(All levels beginner to advanced.)

August 2nd: 9am - 12pm learn the combinations

August 3rd: 9am - 12pm: Audition day! Please wear all black to the audition day. 

Audition fee: $55

No experience required and everyone makes a team.

If your child is wanting to audition for only hiphop, please contact the office and we can help facilitate the audition process for you.

This is a closed tryout meaning no parents are allowed to stay in the studio during tryouts.

Students are allowed to bring a phone and record only at the end of the day on August 2, when coaches give permission to record the routine to practice at home.

All participants will receive a LiveWire Team T-shirt at tryouts.

INFO ABOUT OUR TEAMS

No experience is needed and everyone makes a team as we have beginning - advanced teams.

Our teams are loosely based on age and largely based on technique and skill level.  

 

We like to balance dance with other aspects of life, so our entry level competition teams are not a large time commitment. Our entry level teams require only 1 hour a week for each style of dance. We have fun and work hard in class! And our beginning teams are not intimidating... we understand it might be the first time competing for some students, and we are so excited that they choose LiveWire to try it out.

Competitions are so fun, and just another way to show off your awesome moves.

Our Blackout, Jolt, and Electric intermediate/advanced level teams are for those that want a bigger push. They have a few more hours each week and require a little more dedication both in and out of the studio classroom.

 

We also offer soloist, duos & trios choreography as well as group choreography, and/or lessons for those who want to do their own thing on the stage! 

 

We also train and compete in ballroom!!

We coached the 2018 National Champions in Junior I & II Rhythm!!
